While all our conversions implement a Type-C cavity drainage system and are constructed in accordance with BS8102 (Please refer to our Storage Only Conversion page), there are many reasons you may be looking to go further than just simple storage. You want to go one step further than just storage.

Our versatile Storage Plus option has got you covered for anything you may need. Beyond implementing our standard cavity drainage system, every surface once tanked will receive a plasterboard and skim finish, ready for you to apply any look you desire. This also brings the conversion up to a more immediately useable and aesthetically pleasing standard than the base conversion.

This is an excellent option for those wanting to make good use of their converted space without necessarily making the room a habitable dwelling, our Storage Plus conversion is the most flexible and versatile of our main conversion options. While the Fully Habitable conversion boasts official sign of from UK Building Regulations, this option aims to create nothing less than a multi-functional utility space.

Got to say thank you to everyone at labs, especially Phil, Simon & Carl - they fully tanked my cellar, putting a pump system in there and helping with plastering and more, and I can't recommend them highly enough - great communication, fast & efficient work that is of a consistently high standard, and any and all problems were solved in a stress free and professional manner. As accredited damp proofing specialists, we have all the required skills and experience to ensure that your project goes to plan and meets all required building regulations. In addition, all of our basement conversion projects are overseen by a CSSW accredited surveyor (Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing).
